MAKING YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE DURING THE PROCESS
At Betsy Homan Interior Design, we want to make sure the design and renovation process an enjoyable one for every client. Think of it as the roadmap to realizing your vision—orchestrated in a planned, organized and coordinated way. Here’s how we do it.
INTERVIEW
You, as the prospective client, meet Betsy at her San Antonio interior design company studio to discuss the project and determine the fit. If the fit is right, we move to the contract phase.
CONTRACT
The contract is submitted to you, the client, for our design services. And then it’s on to programming.
PROGRAMMING
We meet at your home or office to discuss project details and budget. The space is measured and “before” photos are taken. Returning to the design studio, the designer creates a completion schedule. This leads to conceptual design.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
Several design options are presented to you. The designer shares sketches, color schemes, fabrics and finishes for your review. An active and engaged design discussion between you and the designer begins, which clears the way to design development.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Details are added for your review. All finishes and furnishings are presented for your approval. And that takes us to final design review.
FINAL DESIGN REVIEW
You are presented with all details of the project for approval. With approval received, we move to proposals and contracts.
PROPOSALS + CONTRACTS
Contractors and/or furnishing proposals are presented to you for consent. Receipt of your signed contracts, as well as deposits, means the project starts. Then it’s on to design execution and project management.
DESIGN EXECUTION + PROJECT MANAGEMENT
All specifications are finalized for contractors. All purchase orders are issued. The design team begins work. All matters of interior design project management are handled by Betsy Homan Interior Design. And all questions that arise during the course of the project are addressed by the designer, who is readily available to you, the client. And so we arrive at the installation phase.
INSTALLATION
Designer and designer team are onsite for the installation of furnishings. This means the best, most anticipated day has finally arrived—and you are able to enjoy!
